Security Recruitment Policy

Welcome to the Security recruitment Section. First and foremost I would like to thank you for showing interest in Security. Please be advised however, and read the information provided below.

Who is Security?

Security has been around since the closed beta of World of Warcraft. Originally created to be ‘the best’ guild in Word of Warcraft, an ambitious plan for sure, but something to strive for as well. The guild, like so many other guilds, went through a healthy process of changes, leadership and members alike. We are known for our continued stability and fun atmosphere.

What can<Security offer you?

Stability.
Security has been around since the World of Warcraft beta and for many years have we played for fun, and killed all bosses available to us. We have been ‘securing’ instances since Molten Core and have never failed to kill a end game boss. Kel’thuzad fell before us and so did Kil’Jaeden. We always make sure we have a steady leadership core and a raiding essence who can last through rough times. Stability is a important ground factor for our guild.

‘We kill Bosses’.
Security is a PvE (Player versus Environment) guild. We pay our monthly fee to defeat new bosses and we play to clear every instance available to us. We strive to uphold our competitive server progression and kill every damn boss Blizzard can throw at us. So don’t be fooled here, if PvE isn’t your thing you should stop reading now and find a guild that is more suitable for your needs.

Friendly Atmosphere
In Security everyone is equal. Everyone is friendly towards everyone and we all laugh, cry and whine together. We like to maintain our ‘smaller’ roster, which means 90% of the people in our guild and online are people cape able of raiding with us. Be a part of the family. Don’t be a relative. We hang out on Ventrillo during non raiding hours and we play other games together as well. When you apply make sure the social factor applies to you.

Raiding ‘Rules’.
We have been raiding for over 3 years now. And still a lot of people who originally pulled the first 2 molten giants, are still raiding with us. Of course needless to say. We recruited a lot of new players as well. And every single one of them, each player recruited by Security is expected to pull his own weight. There are no exceptions. Having a bad day can happen. But continuesly fucking up is simply NOT allowed. So let me make this clear for you. If you are a person that:
- Doesn’t know how to click a portal.
- Doesn’t know the difference between effective healing and over healing.
- Doesn’t know how to ‘dance’ on encounters such as Heigan
- Doesn’t know when to use a healthstone of a class related life saving ability.
- Can’t play for more than 10 minutes without fucking up at least once.
- Has no knowledge about bosses before wiping on it yourself for 10 hours.

Do NOT apply!

Frostmane
The server Security calls home is Frostmane. We transferred here as a guild after our previous server was just too slow and unbearable. And right now Frostmane is one of the better progressing raiding servers in Europe. Being stranded here is not a bad thing. And transferring to Frostmane to join Security is even better. We got dozens of Illidan Killing guilds on the server and also a respected amount inside the Sunwell Plateau.

Raidtimes
Regular raid times are mon/tues/wed/thurs/sunday from 19:00 - 24:00. When clearing new content this will be extended to include friday and saturday and raid times can be extended untill deep in the night.

Loot Council
When dividing loot we use the ‘Loot Council’ system. Officer and sometimes highly established members decide who gets a certain item. This is decided via Attendance, use of the item, upgrade etc. Our Loot Council is well structured and explained further when you are in the guild.

What do we expect of YOU?

Even more so important than what we can offer you, is the applicant himself. What do we expect every player who applies to have? Read below for the answer.

Attitude
You need a GOOD attitude to survive in Security, with attitude I don’t just mean a nice guy in general. No I want all players to be social, self sustaining and smart. Member input is valued highly.

Knowledge and Skill
These fall under the same category, we expect your knowledge of the game to be high, we expect you to know everything about your class and everything about every boss in this game.

Attendance
Don't bother applying if you cannot uphold a 90%+ raid attendance. Raid stability is the key to PvE progress.

PvE Prioritization
Short and simple, we are a PvE guild and expect everyone’s prioritization to be PvE. You don’t play Arena’s or Battlegrounds during raid invites, you don’t quit raids early for PvP purposes, you play to kill new bosses and to farm the current ones. During non raiding hours we love to PvP as a guild, but we expect everyone to be fully ready and PvE specced when raiding.
